James Alabi: Mansfield Town sign Stoke City striker on loan

Mansfield Town have signed striker James Alabi from Premier League club Stoke City on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old is yet make a first-team appearance for the Potters and is in his second spell at the Britannia Stadium after a season with Celtic.

Alabi, who scored one goal in nine substitute appearances on loan at Scunthorpe last term, is available to face Southend United on Friday.

"I am really happy to be here," Alabi said. "I live to score goals."
