Arjen Robben admits Bayern Munich were flattered by the scoreline in their 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund.

Pep Guardiola's side moved seven points clear of Jurgen Klopp's side with Saturday's victory in Dortmund.

After Mario Gotze opened the scoring against his old side, Robben and Thomas Muller added late goals.

"It looks clear-cut but it was only 1-0 until the 85th minute," Dutch winger Robben said. "They had to force things at the end and we used the space."

Dortmund coach Klopp felt his side were the more threatening before Gotze, who joined Bayern from Dortmund for £31.5m in the summer, scored after coming on as a substitute.

Klopp said: "Until 1-0 we had the better chances, but we left Mario unmarked to score and after the second goal we gave up."

Dortmund defender Manuel Friedrich, 34, who made his debut after joining as a free agent last week, felt that Dortmund fell apart after Gotze's goal.

"We didn't deserve to lose by such a clear score, but we broke down after the first goal," Friedrich said.
