Barnet 1-0 Dartford

  • Published

Barnet climbed up to sixth in the Conference Premier with a solitary goal from Jon Nurse enough to defeat Dartford.

Nurse was in the right place at the right time to turn in Keanu Marsh-Brown's shot at the near post.

Luke Gambin, Ahmed Abdulla and Edgar Davids all went close with efforts for Barnet before Nurse struck.

The hosts had player-boss Davids sent off for two yellow cards late but they held on for victory.

Dartford manager Tony Burman after 1-0 defeat to Barnet told BBC Radio Kent:

"We've played really well today but the results aren't going our way.

"The only thing lacking was a goal, we've created chances.

"We should have got something but it wasn't to be."
