Gateshead came from behind to claim a draw in an entertaining Conference Premier clash against Halifax.

Lee Gregory opened the scoring after 10 minutes for the hosts, firing home from 20 yards out, before converting again with a fine effort three minutes later.

James Brown hit back for the visitors in the second half, but Simon Ainge's header restored the two-goal margin.

Marcus Maddison and James Marwood struck to level, before Maddison hit the crossbar twice late on.
