Notts County Ladies have signed Canada international Desiree Scott, subject to international clearance.

The 26-year-old midfielder, who joins Notts from Kansas City, has 64 caps and was part of Canada's bronze medal-winning squad at the London Olympics.

"We are bringing footballers here who share our desire and intent, to achieve the best," said chief executive Luke Negus-Hill.

"This signing shows the ambition and desire of this football club."

Scott is the latest international players to join the club following the recent signings of England's Ellen White, Carly Telford, Sophie Bradley and Jess Clarke.
