Welling United 1-1 Dartford

  • Published

Jim Stevenson's first Dartford goal helped end the club's 10-game losing run in the Conference at Welling.

The on-loan Luton midfielder followed up Elliot Bradbrook's blocked shot to put the visitors ahead early.

Ross Lafayette then levelled from the penalty spot after Mat Mitchell-King fouled Lee Clarke.

Luis Cumbers, Harry Beautyman and Jamie Day went close for Welling, while Danny Harris and Mitchell-King threatened for Darts, but no-one could find a winner.

The visitors, second from bottom in the league, earned their last point with victory against rock-bottom Hyde in October.
