Middlesbrough recall Matty Dolan from Hartlepool loan spell

Middlesbrough have recalled Matty Dolan from his loan spell at Hartlepool.

The 20-year-old midfielder has played 25 times for Pools this term, and had been expected to remain with the League Two club until the end of the season.

"We thought we had a deal in place, but Boro have changed tack a little bit and want to have a look at all of their players," said manager Colin Cooper.

Last month, Boro allowed centre-back Christian Burgess to extend his loan deal at Victoria Park until May.
