Alloa Athletic 1-5 Dumbarton

  • Published

Dumbarton recorded a handsome win against Alloa Athletic in what turned out to be Paul Hartley's last match in charge of the Wasps.

Mark McLaughlin's header crept in to give the Sons an early lead and Chris Turner nodded a second.

Chris Kane converted a penalty after being fouled by keeper Scott Bain.

Kevin Cawley pulled one back for the Wasps but Kane soon netted his second and Jordan Kirkpatrick's volley completed the scoring.

And, after the match, Hartley confirmed he would be stepping down from his role.
