- Published
Portadown made it three Premiership wins in a row despite conceding an early goal at home to Dungannon Swifts.
Defender Adam McMinn headed the Swifts into a sixth-minute lead but Portadown danger man Gary Twigg equalised 10 minutes before half-time.
A fine free-kick by Ryan Harpur saw Dungannon go 2-1 up only for the Ports to level again through Gary Breen.
A brilliant shot by Peter McMahon put Portadown into the lead and Sean Mackle headed in their fourth goal.
Dungannon have now lost five of their last six Premiership fixtures.
"I do not score many headers, so I am happy to be on the score sheet and for us to be on the right end of the result," said Mackle afterwards.
"At half-time the manager told us we had to up our game.
"We were hit by a great free-kick from Ryan Harpur but we dug in well and got level again.
"Then it swung our way when Peter scored a wonder strike and I rounded it off."
