Transfer window: Man City's Emyr Huws joins Birmingham on loan

Birmingham City have signed Manchester City youngster Emyr Huws on loan.

The Wales Under-21 midfielder has joined the Championship club until 1 March but will not be considered for Tuesday's visit of leaders Leicester.

Huws, 20, made his senior debut for Manuel Pellegrini's side as a substitute in a 5-0 win over Blackburn in the FA Cup earlier this month.

He is the second Manchester City player to link up with Blues in January, joining Albert Rusnak at St Andrew's.

Huws had a loan spell with Northampton in League Two last season, making 13 appearances in all competitions.
