Oxford United: Reading keeper Jonathan Henly extends loan

Oxford United have extended the loan deal of goalkeeper Jonathan Henly from Reading for another month.

The 19-year-old had a five-month loan spell at Aldershot earlier this season but is yet to make an appearance during his current loan spell with the U's.

"Jon has done really well in training and shown what he can do," caretaker boss Mickey Lewis said.

"Clarkey [Ryan Clarke] is in excellent form at the moment but it is important to have cover."

Henly came through the youth system at Reading and signed a new contract at the Madejski Stadium in June 2013.
