Gareth Seddon scored the only goal as Chester beat relegation rivals Dartford.

Neither side managed to get a shot on goal until Seddon volley past Darts keeper Alan Julian after the break.

Mikel Suarez threatened for the hosts, but he failed to finish past Aaron Chapman after going on a mazy solo run into the box.

Chapman ensured victory, parrying Lee Noble's stinging effort around the post five minutes from time.

Victory lifts Chester to 19th in the table, six points above the relegation places, while Dartford remain in 22nd and four points from safety.
