Premier League predictions: Lawro v Eliza Doolittle

  • Published
BBC Sport expert Mark Lawrenson

BBC Sport's football expert Mark Lawrenson is pitting his wits against a different guest each week this season.

His opponent for the weekend Premier League fixtures is singer Eliza Doolittle.

Doolittle told BBC Sport: "I'm a huge Arsenal fan. I grew up in Camden so it was right round the corner from me. And I love them with all my heart."

The Londoner is part of the group singing the official England 2014 World Cup song - a cover of Take That hit Greatest Day. She will be joined by Katy B, who lost 7-6 to Lawro last month, Gary Barlow and several other singers, while Match of the Day host Gary Lineker is one of 12 ex-England internationals on the single.

The video made its debut on Sport Relief night on Friday, 21 March. Proceeds from the sale of the record will go to the charity.

A correct result (ie picking a win, draw or defeat) is worth ONE point. A correct score earns THREE points.

Last weekend, Lawro got five correct results from 10 Premier League games, with one perfect score. His score of seven points saw him beat Kaiser Chiefs duo Ricky Wilson and Simon Rix, who got three correct results, with no perfect scores, giving them a score of three points.

We're keeping a record of the totals for Lawro and his guests (below), and showing a table of how the Premier League would look if all of Lawro's predictions were correct (at the bottom of the page).
