Truro City midfielder Joe Broad set to miss the rest of the season

Truro City midfielder Joe Broad is set to miss the rest of the season after injuring his hamstring.

The 31-year-old former Plymouth Argyle and Torquay player was hurt in City's 4-1 loss at Cambridge.

"I'd be very surprised if we see him in a Truro shirt again this season," manager Steve Tully told BBC Cornwall.

City host Hungerford Town at Treyew Road on Tuesday night in the Southern Premier League and could see captain Jake Ash play a more prominent role.

Ash came through 45 minutes at Cambridge as he recovers from a groin injury.
