St Paul's have won Jersey's Premiership title for the first time since 2011, despite not kicking a ball on Saturday.

Second-placed Jersey Scottish could only manage a 1-1 draw at St Clement, meaning the Scots can no longer catch St Paul's.

Charlie Petulla had put Scottish ahead but Andy Le Moine scrambled home an equaliser following a free-kick.

Meanwhile, bottom club Grouville kept their survival hopes alive with their first league win of the campaign.

Goals from Ryan Durand and Josh Gaudinho saw them claim a 2-0 win over mid-table St Peter.

Four points from their final two games could still see Grouville beat the drop.

Elsewhere, St Brelade kept alive their own chances of avoiding relegation with a 3-2 victory against Jersey Wanderers.

In Saturday's other top flight match in the island two goals from Logan McGhee helped Trinity to a 3-0 win at St Ouen.

In Jersey's Championship, First Tower United sealed promotion with a match to spare thanks to a 5-0 thumping of Sporting Academics.
