Huddersfield Town have appointed Steve Eyre as their new first-team coach.

The former Rochdale boss joined the Terriers in April 2012 as their senior professional development coach.

Eyre, 42, will now work alongside Town boss Mark Robins and recently-appointed assistant Steve Thompson.

"He is already very known and respected within the playing group and existing staff and we all know the qualities he will bring to the first-team set-up," boss Robins told the club website., external
