Luton have signed ex-Wycombe striker Lee Angol on a one-year contract.

The 19-year-old has been loaned out to Conference South side Boreham Wood for the upcoming season.

"Loaning him to Boreham Wood will give him the opportunity to get more experience under his belt," manager John Still told the club website., external

"At the same time, he'll be training with us full-time and playing for the development squad, so we'll be able to keep a close eye on his progress."

Angol left Wycombe in May, having made four appearances between August and September 2012 but failing to make a single start last season.

Still added: "Lee is a youngster who we are giving a chance to because we feel he has some potential. We like him and his attitude. He's definitely one for the future.

"He can play down the middle or out wide and he's reasonably quick."
