Coventry City: New captain Reda Johnson to give Sky Blues 'a voice'

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley says that new signing Reda Johnson's vocal presence makes him an ideal candidate to become the club's new captain.
Johnson, 26, who has joined the Sky Blues from Sheffield Wednesday, will replace Carl Baker as City skipper.
"Carl's a captain that leads by example - the way he trains and goes about things," Pressley said.
"He's a terrific individual but he's not a vocal captain and I think Reda will bring a greater degree of that."
Johnson will lead a new-look Sky Blues side in 2014-15, Pressley having now made seven summer signings following the arrivals of utility player Danny Pugh and striker Shaun Miller.
Versatile Pugh is comfortable in both defence and midfield and Pressley is impressed with how the former Leeds and Stoke man is looking.
"We always do fitness tests before players sign - if they don't pass they don't sign - and he passed with flying colours," Pressley told BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.
"He looks lean, he looks in terrific shape and he looks hungry.
"He'll give us great stability and experience and he has real quality on the ball."
