Conor Wilkinson: Oldham sign young Bolton Wanderers striker

Conor Wilkinson has made two first-team appearances for parent club Bolton Wanderers

Oldham Athletic have signed striker Conor Wilkinson on a one-month youth loan deal from Bolton Wanderers.

The 19-year-old scored against the Latics for Bolton's development squad in Tuesday's Manchester Senior Cup tie.

Wilkinson had loan spells with both Chester and Torquay United last season.

Oldham boss Lee Johnson told the club website: "He is a player we have tracked for a while now, watching him progress at Bolton, and we look forward to bringing into the squad."
