Wrexham 3-0 Eastleigh

Wrexham moved up to sixth in the Conference table with a dominant performance against visiting Eastleigh.

Elliott Durrell netted the home side's first, letting the ball slide across his body before finding the net.

Wes York turned in Louis Moult's cross to double Wrexham's lead against Eastleigh, who remain in mid-table.

Substitute Andy Bishop made sure of the points, turning the ball home from close range after striker Connor Jennings battled to win a long ball.

Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin told BBC Radio Wales: "After the disappointment of Monday [losing 2-1 at Chester], to come back and manage the game and win the game in the manner we did was a bit of comfort.

"It probably should have happened sooner in the season but I'm delighted for everybody concerned with the club today that we got a terrific result and it takes us nicely into Tuesday [at home to Kidderminster] now.

"We tried to make people understand the importance of turning our possession into goals and that's what we did today, and it allows you to managed the game and win the game how you want."
