Charlie Wyke: Hartlepool extend loan of Middlesbrough striker

Wyke's three goals in five games have been key to Hartlepool this season

Hartlepool United have extended the loan of Middlesbrough striker Charlie Wyke for a further two months after a successful initial month at the club.

Wyke, 21, has scored three goals in five outings in his second spell with Pools but missed the weekend defeat by Plymouth with concussion.

"Fans have seen already how much he's come on as a player since his last loan here," boss Colin Cooper said.

Sunderland defender Scott Harrison has also signed for an extra month.
