Truro City celebrate a goal against Banbury

Truro manager Steve Tully believes his side are "heading in the right direction" after beating Banbury 4-1 in the Southern Premier League.

Top scorer Craig Duff netted twice after they had trailed 1-0 at half-time to take his seasonal tally to eight.

Rob Farkins and Isaac Vassell were also on target for the White Tigers after Banbury had a man sent off.

"We've just got to keep grinding out results," Tully told BBC Cornwall, after seeing his side move up to fifth.

"We haven't put in a 90-minute performance yet, it seems to be at the moment it's 45 minutes, it's 30 minutes, it's 60 minutes, but hopefully we'll put in a 90-minute performance soon."

Tully also hailed Duff as a "real find for us" as he once again found the net for Truro following his summer move from Bideford.

"He's a man who's always in the right place at the right time.

"He's already scored eight this season and he's going to score a lot of goals for us," Tully added.

"He's ruthless in front of the net which is what we need and hopefully that will push a few more on."
