Truro City have conceded 25 goals in 15 Southern Premier League games this season

Truro City manager Steve Tully says he is "very disappointed" after his side threw away a half-time lead to lose 4-1 at home to Cirencester.

Craig Duff got his ninth of the season after five minutes, but four goals in the final half hour saw City slump to a third loss in four games.

"As soon as they scored a very first goal we capitulated," Tully told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"That's not a team that I want to bring up and I'm very disappointed."

Truro stay seventh in the Southern Premier League, but have conceded more goals than any other side in the top 10.

"The last three were very sloppy goals," Tully added.

"At 1-1 that's where we need them to be men and stand up and be counted, but they didn't do that and I'm really disappointed.

"We've been saying all season we need a 90-minute performance and we haven't had one yet.

"We had 45 minutes today and in the second half we threw it away.

"We need to get back to what we were good at at the start of the season, grinding out results, winning the battles.

"People have to win their battles early on, do the hard things and the ugly things that people are doing to us at the moment, and then we can go and play our football.

"Everybody knows we can play football, but at the moment we're not winning our battles."
