Connor Jennings scored a hat-trick against Wrexham during his loan spell at Macclesfield

Wrexham striker Connor Jennings says his side need to regroup ahead of Friday's FA Cup tie at Macclesfield.

Alan Power's late goal denied Wrexham a win at Lincoln and the Dragons have now failed to win in their last four Conference games.

Jennings says there is plenty to work on ahead of the fourth qualifying round game against his former club.

"We've got a few days in training where we can work on things that are going wrong," he said.

"[We'll] take the positives and hopefully bring them together and take it into Friday."

Jennings joined Wrexham from Scunthorpe United in the summer but had spent a loan spell at Macclesfield at the start of the 2013-14 season.

The striker has scored twice for Wrexham this season including a goal in 2-2 draw against Macclesfield in August.

The 22-year-old said he was "gutted" Wrexham failed to hold on to their lead at Lincoln after Elliott Durrell had given them a first-half lead.

"We put everything in and in that respect it was disappointing," Jennings added.

"But on a positive a point's a point. We've had some tough games lately so it's good to get another point and build on that going into the FA Cup on Friday."

Meanwhile, Dan Holman's one-month loan spell at Wrexham has ended and the forward has returned to Colchester United.

Holman, 24, who failed to score in four substitutes appearances for Wrexham, is unlikely to return to the Racecourse.

"His opportunities have been limited here, which is disappointing, but sometimes that can happen," Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin said.

"Such has been the form of Louis Moult banging the goals in and Connor Jennings working hard and putting in the shifts.

"Bish [Andy Bishop] has been working hard to get himself ahead in the pecking order, so it is one of those things.

"Dan has come in with a great attitude, got on with the job and is a great lad."
