Alfreton Town have signed Scunthorpe United goalkeeper James Severn on a month-long loan deal.

The 23-year-old Derby County academy product joined the Iron after being released by the Rams in June 2012.

Nottingham-born Severn, who made one appearance for Derby, is an England Under-17, U18 and U20 international.

He is eligible to play in the FA Cup and could feature in Saturday's fourth qualifying round tie when the Reds host Conference rivals Lincoln City.
