Kidderminster moved closer to the play-offs with a win over faltering Torquay.

Marvin Johnson put the hosts in front early on when he beat the defence and fired into the top corner.

They doubled their lead when former Torquay player Kevin Nicholson struck a free-kick through a crowd into the net.

The Gulls pulled a goal back from a corner with minutes remaining through defender Aaron Downes but the home side held on to condemn Torquay to their third straight league defeat.

Meanwhile, Harriers striker Reece Styche, who has scored twice in 13 appearances since arriving from Forest Green this summer, has joined Conference North side Tamworth on a month's loan.
