Ipswich Town keeper Bartosz Bialkowski believes his side boast the Championship's best strike partnership in Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick.

The forwards have 15 goals between them this season, with Murphy scoring nine in his last 10 league games.

"Murphy and Dids up front I think are the best partnership in the league," Bialkowski told BBC Radio Suffolk.

"When you look at them, they both have strength and power and are great finishers."

Bialkowski, 27, a summer signing from Notts County, was a team-mate of McGoldrick's at Southampton between 2006 and 2009, and he has started Town's last three games in the absence of the injured Dean Gerken.

Ipswich, fifth in the table, have scored two goals in each of their last three games, something the keeper says is reassuring for the team's defence.

"They are full of confidence. It is great for us defenders to know we've got somebody up front who can score every game," he said.

"It's only good for goalkeepers when you work every day with them. It makes us better."
