Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Kyle Storer faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing a hernia operation.

The 27-year-old, who has missed the club's last two matches, is expected to return by the start of December.

"He's been playing through it," Harriers boss Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester. "But we decided that it was time to get it done.

"They say it's only two or three weeks out now, with all the modern-day things they can do now."

On the plus side, Harriers have player-coach Josh Gowling back for Wednesday night's home Conference game against Aldershot after being out for a month with a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, following midfielder Josh O'Keefe's exit on loan to Chester, Harriers have also allowed reserve keeper Jasbir Singh out on loan to Conference North side Gloucester City.
