Chris Weale: Burton sign Yeovil keeper after Lyness injury

Weale started his career at Yeovil in 1999, when they were a non-league club

Burton Albion have signed Yeovil Town goalkeeper Chris Weale on a one-month loan deal.

The 32-year-old former Leicester City man will provide cover for Dean Lyness, who has been ruled out for up to four months after breaking a leg in a freak training ground accident on Thursday.

Weale joined the Glovers in the summer, but has not played since September.

Burton face Wycombe Wanderers on Monday in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first game as manager.
