Michael Cain: Walsall extend Leicester City midfielder's loan

Michael Cain made his senior debut for Leicester in a League Cup loss to Shrewsbury earlier this season

Walsall have extended Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain's loan deal for a further month.

The 20-year-old has made six appearances for the Saddlers since arriving on an initial one-month deal.

Cain told the club website: "I knew this was a tough League but it's been a challenge that I have thrived on.

"The coaching staff and my team-mates have been unbelievable and, even though I've only been here a month, I feel that I have learned a lot already."

Walsall are currently 16th in League One, three points above the relegation zone.
