Oldham Athletic have signed Bolton Wanderers pair Paddy Kenny and Tom Youngs on loan.

Kenny, 36, moved to the Wanderers in September after his release by Leeds but has yet to play a game.

The former Republic of Ireland international has played over 600 games in a career spanning 17 years and will stay at Boundary Park until 5 January.

Youngs, 20, has made two appearances for Bolton after coming through the system and will stay for one month.

"He's a good footballer, quick, dynamic and when he's on his game he's a real handful," manager Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Manchester.

"There's something in there we believe we might be able to just get out given a first-team environment for a short period."
