Glentoran grab a 3-2 victory over Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park in the Irish Premiership

Niall Henderson headed in a late winner as Glentoran edged the Swifts in an entertaining Stangmore Park clash.

David McCullough hit the roof of the net to put the hosts ahead against the run of play after 34 minutes.

Curtis Allen slotted home before Jordan Stewart's classy finish as Glentoran hit back with two goals in a minute.

Andrew Mitchell smashed in a superb equaliser before Henderson headed in the rebound after Andy Coleman saved Steven Gordon's 84th minute penalty.

Glentoran dominated the early stages with Coleman keeping out Marcus Kane's close-range effort while Allen also went close.

Jamie Tomelty set up the opener, his cross presenting McCullough with an easy finish.

Allen fired past Coleman six minutes later and the Glens were quickly 2-1 in front as Stewart sent a brilliant curler into the corner.

Mitchell's leveller was the pick of the goals, his turn and powerful shot giving keeper Elliott Morris no chance.

The impressive Stewart twice hit the woodwork before Gordon was fouled for the decisive spot-kick.

Coleman kept out the penalty but Henderson was perfectly placed to score against his former club.

The Glens stay fifth and 10 points behind pacesetters Linfield while Dungannon are three points and one place off the basement.
