Altrincham 0-1 Nuneaton Town

  • Published

Struggling Nuneaton saw off Altrincham to record their first away win of the season.

The home side started brightly with Callum Burton denying Damian Reeves' right-footed effort.

Reeves threatened again on the hour mark and Burton was called upon to tip his header over the crossbar.

But Michael Gash, teed up by Gavin Cowan, finished from close range to score his first goal since October and hand Nuneaton the victory.

The visitors came into the match having failed to win their last six games.
