AFC Wimbledon's FA Cup third-round tie at home to Liverpool on Monday is bigger than the Champions League final, Dons striker Adebayo Akinfenwa says.
The hosts will be playing in the third round for the first time since their rebirth in 2002, and lifelong Liverpool fan Akinfenwa is particularly excited.
"It's the biggest game, there is no bigger," the 32-year-old said.
"I am a Liverpool supporter so even if I played in the Champions League final, this would be the biggest game."

"I'd watched Steve McMahon hundreds of times get the ball from the full-back, let it run across his body, turn out and play it, so I was going to nail him. I just remember seeing his legs way above his head. He didn't know where he was. They were towelling him down." |
Akinfenwa, who is playing for his 11th club, added: "I was doing a dance in my living room when I saw the draw.
"As a Liverpool supporter, the three best feelings are: to play for the team, to play against the team and score against them. I have the opportunity to do two out of three."
The tie is a repeat of the 1988 FA Cup final when the original Wimbledon FC beat Liverpool 1-0 at Wembley thanks to Lawrie Sanchez's header.
It is a sell-out, with 4,800 tickets sold, and Akinfenwa, who is considered to be the world's strongest footballer, external because he can benchpress 180kg, has promised the Reds defence they will have a difficult night against the League Two outfit.
"I want to play against the best so I want to go toe-to-toe with Martin Skrtel, Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren and Kolo Toure," said Akinfenwa, who has scored nine goals this season.
"They are Premier league players and you want to be able to look back and say: 'I pitted myself against the best and handled myself well'.
"If there's a 50-50, hopefully I will come out on top. I would back myself... 100%."
