Championship side Blackpool have agreed a contract extension with midfielder Jamie O'Hara and signed Tottenham defender Grant Hall on loan.

O'Hara, 28, joined in November on a two-month deal but has now signed until the end of this season.

Hall, 23, worked with boss Lee Clark at Birmingham and will stay until May.

"I think the fact that we've got him back enjoying his football again has been a big factor," Clark told BBC Radio Lancashire about keeping O'Hara.

"There have been clubs which have seen what he is about again, the ability he's got and he's had other offers."

Hall spent last season on loan at League One side Swindon and did join Birmingham on loan for the whole of this campaign, but it was cut short last week after not featuring for Blues since October.

"He's a terrific young pro, a centre-half with pace who is comfortable on the ball," added Clark about the former Brighton defender.

"He's thought of highly at Spurs and when I heard that he wasn't staying with Birmingham on loan I made a move to bring him in."
