Swansea City winger Marvin Emnes has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a hamstring strain.

Emnes suffered the injury during the Swans' 1-0 win at Southampton.

Forward Modou Barrow was also injured in that match but will be fit to face Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

Midfielder Leon Britton is available after a virus, while Ki Sung-Yueng is also back in contention having returned from Asian Cup duty with South Korea.

The midfielder, 26, captained his country to the final but they were beaten 2-1 by hosts Australia after extra time.

Winger Jefferson Montero is also hopeful of playing a part in training later this week.

The Ecuadorian aggravated a hamstring injury in the build-up to the win over Southampton, having missed a month with the same problem earlier in the season.
