Swansea spurned three points against Sunderland - Garry Monk

Swansea City manager Garry Monk rued his side's wasteful finishing after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland.
The Swans spurned a number of opportunities as Jermain Defoe gave Sunderland a first-half lead against the run of play.
Ki Sung-Yueng eventually headed Swansea level, but Monk feels his side should have claimed all three points.
"We had enough chances to win the game," Monk said.
"We should have come away with the three points but we could have easily come away with nothing if we didn't take one of those chances, so a point is better than nothing."
The result sees Swansea stay in ninth place in the Premier League table, while Sunderland remain in 14th.
Having beaten Southampton 1-0 the previous weekend, the Swans could have secured a second successive league victory had they been more clinical in front of goal against the Black Cats.
Bafetimbi Gomis and Jonjo Shelvey both missed promising opportunities in the first half, while Ki had a goal disallowed as he was adjudged to have been offside as he swept the ball in from a Shelvey free-kick.
"I got told his head was offside, so I don't quite know how that works to be honest with you," said Monk.
"The angle we had was inconclusive, but I got told his hairline was offside."
Swansea continued to dominate in the second half, but a Shelvey free-kick curled wide and a shot from substitute Nelson Oliveira was well saved by Costel Pantilimon in the Sunderland goal.
"Credit to the players in terms of their character. They tried to get back into the game and managed to get the goal," added Monk.
"There was only one team pushing to try and get the second but unfortunately we couldn't take those chances."
