Guernsey FC 'making a late surge for the play-offs', says Tony Vance

Tony Vance had guided his side to five wins in a row before their loss at Burgess Hill last time out
Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance says his team are making a late surge for the play-offs, after a run of six wins in their last eight games.
Vance's side, who currently lie 12th in the Isthmian League Division One South, host bottom club Horsham on Saturday.
"We've got to keep putting pressure on people," he told BBC Radio Guernsey.
"It's not a position I'd like to be in, but we've got a chance. We had a little bit of a blip last week but hopefully we can get back on track."

Guernsey, who were beaten in last season's play-off semi-finals, went on the worst run in their four-year history between mid-September and mid-December, winning just two of 14 league matches.
"The certain thing is that we're reliant on other people making errors and we're chasing," said Vance.
"We're making a late surge but we need them to drop points. Having our strongest group available gives us our best chance."
