Loan man Dominic Samuel's 88th minute strike at Highbury was his fifth goal in 10 games for Coventry City

Coventry City scored two late goals at play-off hopefuls Fleetwood to ease fears of relegation to League Two.

After making a goal-line clearance to keep out Jamie Proctor's header, Sky Blues defender Chris Stokes then headed against the bar in the second half.

On-loan Reading striker Dominic Samuel got the breakthrough on 88 minutes when he cut in from the left to slot home.

Frank Nouble then sealed victory in the fifth minute of stoppage time after his first effort had hit the post.

The goal was gifted to the visitors when home keeper Chris Maxwell was slow reacting to an underhit backpass, allowing Nouble to charge down the loose ball.

City's second successive victory under new manager Tony Mowbray moves them three points clear of the League One danger zone.
