Gareth Bale can cope with the pressure at Real Madrid according to Wales team-mate Sam Vokes.

Real say they will take legal action against fans found to have attacked players' cars, including Bale's vehicle after Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Barcelona.

Vokes says Bale, 25, who has met up with the Wales squad ahead of the Euro 2016 qualifier against Israel, will not let recent criticism affect him.

"I'm sure he's strong enough to cope with that," Vokes said.

Chris Coleman's side are a point behind Group B leaders Israel, who they face in Haifa on Saturday, 28 March.

Israel have won all three of their games so far, with Wales recording two wins and two draws from their four games.

Wales maintained their unbeaten record with a 0-0 draw away to World Cup quarter-finalists Belgium in November.

Bale has played a key part in the campaign so far, scoring a late winner in the away win in Andorra, and Vokes hope he will continue his good form in a Welsh shirt.

"He's a class player... and when it comes to playing with Wales he's shown how passionate he is towards it.

"Especially in this group. The performances he has been putting in have been fantastic and hopefully he can carry on doing that and take us on."
