Reigning Jersey champions St Paul's suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 2-1 to Trinity in the Jersey Premiership.
Barry Beatson and Lee Cogan were on target for Trinity, with Kieran Lester replying for St Paul's.
The result could set up a play-off for the title with Saints three points off Jersey Scottish with a game in hand.
Scottish's only loss this season came against St Paul's in December, while two sides also drew 0-0 last month.
Jersey's title is decided via a play-off if sides are level on points, rather than using goal difference.
The last time there was a play-off was in 2009 when St Paul's thrashed Trinity 6-0 to retain their title., external
At the bottom of the league Rozel Rovers moved a point clear of third-from-bottom St Brelade after a 2-2 draw with St Ouen.
Meanwhile, in the inter-island Jeremie Cup Jersey Scottish are through to the final after a 4-1 win over Jersey Wanderers.
