Jonny Williams returns to Crystal Palace from Ipswich

Ipswich's Jonny Williams has seven caps for Wales

Midfielder Jonny Williams has returned to Crystal Palace from Ipswich Town after the recurrence of a groin injury.

The Wales international was substituted just before half-time while playing for Town's Under-21s in the 3-2 defeat by Bristol City on Monday.

Williams, 21, who joined Ipswich from Palace in March for a second loan spell at the club this season, has gone back to his parent club for treatment.

He spent five months out of action after being injured in November.

Williams made two substitute appearances during his second spell at Portman Road.
