Hull City defender James Chester says international team-mates Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale can inspire Wales to victory against Belgium on 12 June.

Wales are second in Group B behind leaders Belgium on goal difference.

Bale, Ramsey and Chester are expected to be named in Chris Coleman's squad for the crunch Euro 2016 qualifier on Tuesday at 12:00 BST.

"If we can perform and give them [Bale and Ramsey] the platform then hopefully we can get the result," said Chester.

Chester, 26, is fit again after missing the 3-0 win in Israel at the end of March.

He will be a strong contender to line up in the heart of the Welsh defence following a calf injury to West Ham defender James Collins.

Ramsey opened the scoring in that win against the Israelis before Bale struck twice.

Chester says he is glad he is playing with the Arsenal midfielder and Real Madrid forward rather than against them.

"There's no doubt their ability and I'm glad that they're on the same side as myself because they can win you games on their own," he said.

"We saw that in Israel. They can be the difference in winning games."

Coleman is expected to name a bigger squad than usual which will then be trimmed down for the week of the game.

Aside from Collins, Wales will also be without full-back Ben Davies (shoulder), midfielder Jonathan Williams (groin) and winger George Williams (knee).

Wigan midfielder Emyr Huws is also set to miss out - although he has recently returned to light training after suffering an ankle injury in February.

Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett and Celtic's Adam Mathews are expected to return and Leicester midfielder Andy King is also available again after serving a suspension.

The squad will meet up for a training camp in Cardiff on Monday 1 June for five days before the match squad reconvene on Monday 8 June.

Former Wrexham goalkeeper Chris Maxwell could be in line for a call-up after impressing for League One side Fleetwood Town this season.

Maxwell, 24, has played for the under-21 side, but is yet to win a senior cap.

There could also be a call-up for West Brom's 16-year-old striker Tyler Roberts.

Roberts was captain of the Wales Under-16 side which won the Victory Shield in November and was on the bench for West Brom's 4-1 defeat by Arsenal on Sunday.
