Conference side Chester have signed former Grimsby striker Ross Hannah on a one-year deal.

The 29 year-old has spent the majority of his career in non-league football before a move to Bradford, external in 2011.

He scored 28 goals in 53 starts during his two-year spell with the Mariners.

"It's a great signing for the football club and Ross is proven at this level. I tried to bring him in on loan last season and I'm glad we've got him here now," said Chester boss Steve Burr.
