Dagenham & Redbridge defender Matt Partridge has signed a new one-year contract with the League Two side.

The 21-year-old joined the east London side last summer on a free transfer after leaving Reading, for whom he did not make a senior appearance.

Partridge featured 28 times for the Daggers last season, scoring his first goal against Accrington in April.

The centre-back is the seventh player to sign a new deal at Victoria Road since the end of the campaign.

Andre Boucaud, Jamie Cureton, Ashley Hemmings, Frankie Raymond, Joe Widdowson and Ade Yusuff have already prolonged their stays with Wayne Burnett's side.
