Ross County have agreed to sign Englishman Jonathan Franks on a two-year deal, with the 25-year-old leaving Hartlepool United.

The winger begins his spell with the Scottish Premiership club on 1 July.

Franks started his career at Middlesbrough and had loan spells with Oxford United and Yeovil Town before joining Hartlepool in 2012.

He joins fellow new signings Scott Fox, Brian Graham, Dean Holden, Ian McShane and Stewart Murdoch at Victoria Park.

And Michael Gardyne has formalised a move from Dundee United after being on loan.

Franks has made over 150 senior appearances, scoring 22 goals. He netted six times for English League Two Hartlepool in season 2014-15.
