Stephen O'Donnell: Luton Town sign Partick Thistle defender

Stephen O'Donnell scored 10 goals in his last four seasons for Partick

League Two side Luton Town have signed right-back Stephen O'Donnell on a free transfer after his Partick Thistle contract expired.

The 23-year-old former Scotland Under-21 international made 139 appearances for the Jags and has signed an initial two-year deal at Kenilworth Road.

The former Celtic trainee rejected a £100,000 move to then Championship side Blackpool in January.

"I can't wait to get going and help this club move forward," he said.

"I was fortunate to have other offers but chose Luton because the club is ambitious on and off the pitch."
