Swansea City have signed striker Eder from Sporting Braga for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old Portugal international has sealed a three-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.

Eder has been capped 18 times by his country and scored 10 goals in 29 appearances for Portuguese side Braga in 2014-15.

He is Swansea's fourth signing before the 2015-16 season and comes after he passed a medical at the weekend.

The Welsh club's summer signings include Ghana forward Andre Ayew from Marseille, French defender Franck Tabanou from St-Etienne and Swedish goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt from Dutch side Heerenveen.

The Swans have also held talks with 18-year-old Barcelona keeper Guillermo Lara.

Manager Garry Monk is looking to sign another forward before the start of the Premier League season.

The club have also enquired about Watford striker Troy Deeney and were interested in FC Twente's former Netherlands Under-21 forward Luc Castaignos.
