Danny Wright: Cheltenham Town sign former Kidderminster striker

Cheltenham striker Danny Wright has had spells with six other clubs, including Cambridge and Wrexham

Cheltenham Town have signed striker Danny Wright after his departure from National League rivals Kidderminster.

Wright, 30, scored four goals in 16 appearances for the Harriers last season having arrived on a short-term deal from Gateshead in January.

Kidderminster were keen to re-sign the former Wrexham forward,, external but he has now signed a one-year deal at Whaddon Road.

"He's a round peg in a round hole that I didn't have - a target man," manager Gary Johnson told the club's website, external.
