Last season's runners-up Jersey Scottish have been knocked out of the Charity Cup after losing 2-1 to Jersey Wanderers in the first round on Monday.

Former island captain and Scottish midfielder Chris Andrews was on target for Wanderers, as was Ruben Pestana.

Wanderers will play cup holders St Paul's after they eased into the quarter finals with a 4-2 win over St Lawrence at Clos des Pauvres.

Island players Kieran Lester and Zeljko Martinovic each scored twice.

Wanderers will face St Paul's on Thursday at Springfield.
